Tagalus RSS Feeds added

Tagalus RSS FeedLast night, Tagalus got updated with a feature that disappeared for a while during our PHP-to-#RoR migration.  There are now RSS feeds available for the whole site (a feed that has the most recent tags) and a feed for each tag.  The feeds for individual tags has all of the definitions associated with that tag.  As Tagalus gets more popular and more tags have multiple definitions associated with them, this can be a useful tool to see if others have been adding information to a tag you’ve set up or are interested in.

Is there more information you would like to see in the feeds?  Other types of feeds (feeds for comments are coming soon..)?  Leave a comment or email tagalus [AT] gmail

    hi,

thanks for the service — good start.

i have been hashing this problem out (sorry for the pun, i couldn’t stop myself) for a couple weeks, and have the following requests / suggestions:

    1. although you are asking people to register, you could also make a directory of all hashtags being used, how regularly they are used and if they appear to be abandoned. this is helpful, because your service is not relevant if it’s not comprehensive.

    2. i also want (this might take more time) to be able to see what hashtags are associated with keywords. like “sustainability” or a specific conference. i’m less sure how to accomplish this, so it’s a “business requirement,” not a technical one.

happy to talk this through if you want some real-time feedback.

    Love the program!
How about a button to download all of the postings to a hashtag to a document file?
